One of Newmarket's newest neighbourhoods, Woodland Hills, has been built around the Upper Canada Mall. The area encompases homes built from Bathurst St to Yonge St, north of Davis Drive. Primarily a family community, the area is home to two elementary schools: Alexander Muir Public School and Poplar Bank Public School. Walk through Bonshaw Park, and stroll some of the main streets through the subdivision, such as Woodspring Ave, Ford Wilson Blvd, Alfred Smith Way and Dawson Manor.
