"Summerhill" is an established and desirable neighbourhood in Newmarket, located north of Mulock Dr. between Bathurst and Yonge St. The area is dotted with parks, such as "Jim Bond" park (at the corner of Yonge and Mulock), "William Thomas Mulock" park and "Whipper Billy Watson" parks, (located north and south of Clearmeadow Blvd, next to Bathurst St),  Clearmeadow park as well as Salisbury Park.  The elementary school in the community is the Clearmeadow Public School, which has an excellent reputation and is one the reasons that so many young families want to live in Summerhill.

The newer part of "Summerhill", which is south of Mulock is known as "South Summerhill".  This is where the local highschool is located--"Sir William Mulock".
